1. Free Services
Traffic Odyssey offers many free services to all members, including link rotators, link tracking, link vault, member directory access, and basic ExitCred features. Since these services are provided at no cost, no refunds are applicable.
2. Paid Services – ExitCred Slot Upgrades
Traffic Odyssey currently offers paid upgrades for ExitCred ad slots:
- Slot 2: $25.00/year – Run two ads simultaneously, earn two credits per popup
- Slot 3: $15.00/year – Run three ads simultaneously, earn three credits per popup
Due to the immediate nature of digital services, all sales are final and non-refundable.
3. No Refund Policy – Digital Services
This includes but is not limited to:
- ExitCred slot upgrades (Slots 2 and 3)
- Advertising credits (banner, text, popup, or surf credits) – if offered in future
- Traffic packages and view impressions – if offered in future
- Paid promotional placements – if offered in future
- Membership upgrades (once activated)
Why no refunds on digital services?
Digital services, including ExitCred slot upgrades, are delivered and accessible immediately upon purchase. Once your slot is activated and you begin using the service, the service has been rendered and cannot be returned or reversed. This is standard practice across the digital services industry.
4. Exception: Technical Failures
We will consider refund requests only in the following circumstances:
- Service Not Delivered: If we fail to activate your paid slot due to a technical error on our end (e.g., payment processed but slot remained inactive after 24 hours)
- Duplicate Charges: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same slot upgrade
- System Error: If a technical malfunction on our platform prevented you from accessing the paid features you purchased
To request a refund for technical failures:
- Contact us through our contact form within 7 days of the transaction
- Provide your transaction ID, PayPal email, account username, and detailed description of the issue
- Allow us 5-7 business days to investigate and respond
If we confirm that the service was not delivered due to our technical error, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
5. What Is NOT Eligible for Refund
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Dissatisfaction with traffic quality or results (traffic performance varies based on many factors outside our control)
- Not using the purchased slot enough
- Account suspension or termination due to Terms of Service violations
- Services that were successfully delivered as described
- Promotional or discounted purchases (all sales final)
6. Subscription Renewals
ExitCred slot upgrades are annual subscriptions:
- No Partial Refunds: Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable once the billing period begins
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your PayPal account, but you will retain access until the end of your current paid year
- No Pro-Rating: Cancellations do not result in pro-rated refunds for unused time
- Renewal Reminder: We send a reminder email 7 days before each renewal
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with PayPal or your credit card provider without first contacting us to resolve the issue:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
- If the chargeback is found to be fraudulent or unjustified, your account may be permanently terminated
- Any pending commissions you earned will be forfeited
- You may be permanently banned from future purchases
We encourage you to contact us first through our contact form if you believe you were charged in error or did not receive the service you purchased. Most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably.
8. Processing Refunds
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase
- Processing time may take 5-10 business days depending on PayPal
- You will receive email confirmation once the refund is processed
- Your ad slot will be deactivated and you will lose access to associated features
- Any commissions earned from your referrals will be reversed
9. Referral Commissions
If a referral you sponsored requests and receives a refund:
- The commission you earned from that referral will be reversed and deducted from your pending or future payouts
- If the commission was already paid out, the amount will be deducted from future earnings
- Fraudulent or incentivized referrals that result in refund requests will not generate commissions and may result in account termination
